This year (2020) comet Neowise flew by the Earth. It came pretty close so it was very well visible on the night sky. So, with my love for photography and space, I had to take some pictures of it.
It was July so I had to stay up late, and wait until the sun had set. It was a clear evening so I went to the Zoetermeerse Plas, the darkest place in the direct neighborhood, and took some nice pictures of the comet. The first picture was taken at 23:39 and I stayed until approximately 1:20. By that time it started to get a little cold and some fog came up so the comet was no longer visible.
Since it was a clear night, quite a lot of stars were visible. It happened to be possible to fit both the Big Dipper and Neowise in one frame, so you can see them in the middle two pictures below.
Hope you enjoy them too!
