For a challenge called “Mostly white”, I decided to haves some fun with product photography. At home I have a small studio of 60x60x60 cm with two lights. So, I set it up with the white background and took two toys to take pictures of, a white bear and a spinning top.
The white bear was great on the the white background. It shows that white on white can work very well.
Since I like colors, I took my colorful spinning top on the white background. At first, it had some shadows and reflections I didn’t like, so I started to move the lights around until I saw the shadows and reflections of the light as they are in the picture below. To me, it looks like a little guy with wings, but use your imagination to see anything you like.
